GET BACK TO WORK and TAKE CARE OF BUSINESS!

The less said about the 4th quarter of the Rams game, the better.  The Defense bailed us out and we got the W, and regardless of the circumstances, it all counts the same.

But now the Bye Week is done, and we have nothing but Football from here to the end of the season.  How good does THAT sound?

Now that a restful week of family, rest and relaxation is behind them, our FIRST PLACE REDSKINS take the home field again this weekend against a dangerous divisional opponent in the Philadelphia Eagles.  Michael Vick, DeSean Jackson and LeSean McCoy have been feeling the heat from the Philly Criminal Element - - I mean the Eagles Faithful - - all week, and they are looking to take out their frustrations on a familiar foe.  The Defense of the Eagles is soft up the middle, and we want to run the ball, so this looks like a match-up we can take advantage of.  The Bye Week gave some of our nicked up guys time to heal, so we should be able to bring the pain against an O-Line that has not been able to protect Vick much, as evidenced by his whining on National TV a few weeks ago.

With a strong showing here, we can put a divisional opponent FOUR games behind us . . . which will be a welcome buffer at any point in the season!

Redskins at No. 10 in Week 5 power rankings

The Redskins had the bye week — but they still jumped up in the rankings and cracked the top 10 for the first time in Week 5 of Mark Maske’s NFL Power Rankings. The losses by the Giants and Eagles obviously helped.
