Good Things Come In Threes………

Our Redskins got an entertaining win last Saturday against the San Francisco 49ers . . .with everyone, including the long lost LaVar Arrington. Monday, Coach Gibbs announced that Patrick Ramsey will be the starting quarterback going into next season. And this Sunday, we have a chance to put the nail in the Cowboys' playoff coffin!

The Cowboys still haven't announced who their starting quarterback will be, but whoever it is will find tough going against the No. 2 Defense in the league ~~ that will be playing with both LaVar Arrington and Shawn Springs, who is back from his one game rest after a concussion.

The tailgate will be in full swing at Texas Stadium, so come on out and join the Burgundy & Gold Fan Club on their annual pilgrimage. But if you can't make it out there, Austin Avenue will still be open for business, so stop by and watch the game! Happy Holidays! ...............................John Priddy

BURGUNDY & GOLD FANTASY FOOTBALL LEAGUE ~ PLAYOFF UPDATE

PLAYOFFS ~ ROUND #2: And then there were two….

Gold Conference Championship:
Unsung Heroes (John Domin, owner) continued his spectacular comeback by absolutely CRUSHING the 11-2 Game Over (Danny Zegan, owner)! The early season trade that sent Curtis Martin from Game Over to Unsung Heroes for Marvin Harrison turned out to be a BAD move for Game Over as the ageless Martin rang up BIG points for the Unsung Heroes.

Burgundy Conference Championship:
TDsnDC (Carl Murphy, owner) was up BIG going into the late games with Calley's Allstars (John Priddy, owner), who only had 2 players left. But what a couple of players they were! Drew Bennett and Billy Volek continued their late season explosion, giving Calley's Allstars 88 points between them! TDsnDC tried to come back with David Patten on Monday night to no avail.

This sets up the Super Bowl this Sunday between Calley's Allstars and Unsung Heroes. EARLY in the season, Calley's Allstars won a close one between these teams, but both the teams have changed drastically since then, so it's anyone's game!

You can follow the season at http://football12.myfantasyleague.com/2004/home/65363
